SIFA Strengthens Presence in Vietnam with Strategic Business Development Visit

The Samoa International Finance Authority (SIFA), through the Samoa International Business Finance Centre (Samoa IBFC), successfully conducted a promotional and business development visit to Hanoi, Vietnam from 18th – 21st May 2026.

The visit forms part of SIFA’s continued efforts to strengthen international engagement and expand Samoa’s presence in emerging markets. During the programme, the delegation participated in the World Financial Innovation Series (WFIS) and engaged in a series of targeted meetings with leading Vietnamese law firms, advisory firms, and regulatory institutions.

These engagements provided a valuable platform to promote Samoa’s International Finance Centre framework and explore potential areas of collaboration within the financial services sector. Vietnamese counterparts showed strong interest in Samoa’s offerings, particularly in foundations, investment structures, and emerging financial services. The visit also offered useful insights into regional financial innovation trends and further enhanced Samoa’s visibility within the Vietnamese market.

This initiative marks an important step in advancing Samoa’s international finance objectives, with follow-up engagements and knowledge-sharing activities expected to support the development of long-term partnerships.
